This session will provide expert advice on choosing the best bike share options for communties and campuses. Bike sharing options are being updated at an exciting pace -- docked, dockless, e-bike, and more. See firsthand what Washington, DC itself is going through in the pilot program of multiple dockless bike sharing systems. Explore the case study of LimeBike free flow dockless bikeshare in Greensboro, NC. The program launched 6/1/17 with 125 bikes at UNC Greensboro. Bikeshare quickly became the most popular sustainable transportation program on campus during the summer, and was soon adopted by GDOT in a city wide expansion. Learn about selection criteria, implementation planning, utilization data, ridership trends, and lessons learned.
